New legislation regarding the entrance requirement for kindergarten:

Beginning with the fall of 2005, students entering kindergarten must have reached the age of five years on or before October 1 of the school year in which they enroll.

This list is for your  records.
Received by you Description of document: Signed, fill out & Returned
  • Aurora Public Schools Student Registration Form -  1 per student - Full name of each student required. Returning students are exempt.
  • Copy of birth certificate required.  Returning students are exempt.
  • Emergency #'s Student Health Information.  1 per student every year enrolled.
  • Colorado Dept. of Public Health & Environment - Certificate of Immunizations Form - 1 per student
  • Authorization for Release of Records.  1 per student.
  • Migrant Education Survey (if applicable)
  • Brighton Option Parent/ Family Signature Page-Please return by 1st day of school.  (orange - last page)
School expense check off list:
  • Purchase of school shirt(s)
  • $25 per student Activity Fund
  • $40 Destination Imagination
  • $20 Ameritowne class field trip fee
  • $20 International Towne class field trip fee
  • Music class supplies (check with teacher when available)
  • Drama class supplies (check with teacher when available)
  • Pizza order form and payment arrangement: monthly, semester or yearly.
Returning families do not have to "re" enroll.  Your student info. Is still on file with APS.  Thanks!
